Read: Deuteronomy 30:19
Every day of our lives is filled with choices, both big and small. Some choices are easy, e.g., paper or plastic, pen or pencil, blue or red dress, etc. Some other choices need a lot more wisdom, e.g., which profession should I choose? Where should I live? Whom should I marry? How can I raise my children better? How should I invest my money?
God wants to help you make those choices wisely. He has given you the wisdom and understanding in His Word, His abiding presence through His Spirit, and the wisdom of godly family members and friends. Do you forget or neglect to ask God for wisdom and guidance when making an important decision in life? James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” Can you ask God for wisdom to make the right choices?
