Where is peace found? Some people think that you can have peace if you are rich or powerful. Many who are rich in this world do not have real peace in their hearts. Peace is not having an untroubled life. Peace is not found in a pill, bottle, wealth, or power. It is found in reconciliation with God. There can be no peace of mind until you surrender your life at the cross of Jesus Christ.

When Jesus came to His disciples, He said, “My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you” (John 14:27). The peace that Jesus gives is greater than the storm, the burden, the risk, or any responsibility we can face. It surpasses all understanding (Phil. 4:7), and you can have it if you seek it. And this is possible only when you are justified by faith with God the Father through Jesus Christ. Do you have any unconfessed sin you are holding on to? Can you confess that before the Lord and ask His forgiveness? He will cleanse you with His blood, forgive you and fill you with His peace.
