Read: Isaiah 63:9
Everyone experiences a certain degree of loneliness at some point in his/her life. The solution to loneliness is not to give in or give up or do what everyone else does or go where everyone else goes or look alike and speak alike and think alike and act like the world around you so you won’t stand out so distinctly from the crowd. The solution is not to withdraw into an uninvolved and inactive life either.
When saints of God in the Bible experienced loneliness, they sought God all the more. They didn’t sink into despair or question God’s existence. Instead they found meaning by realising that God joined them in their loneliness. The solution is found when we discover meaning in the midst of loneliness as God Himself shares our loneliness while we walk with and work for Him. And eventually He will bring out the best for you when you come through those moments. Isa. 63:9 says, “In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them and carried them all the days of old.”
