Read: John 16:5-15
After the earthly ministry of Jesus, He left this world and went to His Father. His ascension was to a certain place for a particular reason. Beyond just physically going up, He was being elevated to the right hand of the Father. He now occupies the royal throne of cosmic authority. It is the office of the King of kings and Lord of lords.
But He is not fully absent from us. He has sent His Holy Spirit to be with us and in us. He is given to lead and guide us in the path that the Lord has ordained for us. He is there to strengthen us where we are weak. He comforts us when we are disheartened. He is with us always to the end of the age. How much time do you spend each day listening to the Holy Spirit?
