Read: Matthew 11:28-30
In this fast-paced world, it is easy to get tired. When we are tired, it is easy to lose our focus and fall into temptations. Ask God to help you in such a season. Mothers can feel exhausted and less appreciated after taking care of their family and little ones. Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matt. 11:28-30). Lay your burdens on Jesus alone. He will help you.
If you have toiled hard for your family or work, God will not forget your genuine efforts that you have done to glorify His name. The Bible says that “God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them” (Heb. 6:10). God’s presence will always go before you and He will give you rest (Exod. 33:14).
Even if you are tired, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:6-7). Hope in the Lord and trust in Him alone. He will renew your strength like that of the eagle, you will run and not be weary. You will walk and not faint (Isa. 40:31).
