Read: Psalm 3:2-6
When we call unto God, He listens and answers our prayer. When David was surrounded by enemies, God protected him. David prayed, “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill” (Ps. 3:3-4).
Jesus came to this world to become “hope” for the hopeless. Our hope comes when we find our salvation in Jesus. Peter the apostle wrote, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Pet. 1:3). We have hope because Jesus died on the cross and He rose again as He said.
Are you rejoicing in hope even when there are tribulations surrounding you? Be patient. Submit your prayer and supplications to God. Our God is the God of hope (Rom. 15:13). He will grant us as He has promised. “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Ps. 55:22).
