Read: Psalm 19:1

How can one look at this universe and say that it was not created by God? Atheists believe that there is no God. Satan has blinded their eyes to believe the truth that God is for real.

  • The created world declares that God is real.

Ps. 19:1-3 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.  They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.

  • The anger of God against the sin of humanity reveals that God is real.

Rom. 1:18 says, “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness.”

  • The Holy Scriptures declare that God is real.

Ps. 19:7-10 says, “The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.  The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.

  • The repentant heart declares that God is real.

Ps. 19:12-14 says, “Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”

It is the folly of man to declare that there is no God (Ps. 53:1). In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1:1). He created man in His own image (Gen. 1:27). He is real. He wants to have fellowship with us daily (Lev. 26:12). Are we willing to enjoy His companionship?
