The world can be a place filled with temptations of greed, pride, jealousy, hatred, etc. If you are not guarded, it is easy to fall into such kind of temptations. When suffering comes, it is easy to deny God and question your faith. Sometimes when people see innocents die or suffer, they stop believing in God. The devil brings in such doubts and confusion.

Nabeel Qureshi was a former Muslim who accepted Christ. He had to leave his Islamic faith and culture to stand for the Lord. Although he was the only person in his family to accept Christ, he was able to share his faith to millions worldwide before succumbing to stomach cancer in September, 2017. Nabeel personally testified that he experienced the emotional pain after his parents came to know that he was a Christian. The Bible strengthened him to follow Christ. Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Matt. 16:24).
