Read: Mark 13:24-26
Jesus may come any time. No one knows when He will come except the Father in heaven (Mark 13:32). When Jesus comes the second time, He will take His children with Him. The Bible says, “The sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matt. 24:30-31). When Jesus comes, “… many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Dan. 12:2).
The signs when Jesus would arrive are “In that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left” (Luke 17:34-36). Also, “The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory” (Mark 13:24-26).
Jesus gives everyone a chance to accept Him before it is too late. “Though many are called only few are chosen” (Matt. 22:14) for the marriage supper of the Lamb. Only the bride that is prepared and made herself ready and holy can be part of the wedding banquet. Are you willing to be part of that remnant to attend the wedding supper with Jesus?
