Read: 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 24

Jesus taught that answered prayer requires persistence (Matt. 7:7-11). There may be occasions where repeated prayer doesn’t seem to be doing much good. We may be expecting a certain response from God when we are praying. But nothing significant seems to be happening. Sometimes we may feel that there is no point in praying, and we may tend to give up. We may wonder why our prayer is unanswered by God.

The Bible says that God is faithful and that He will do what He has said. If we continue in asking, seeking, knocking, the promise is that God will eventually open the door. He will bring His intervention, His answer, His deliverance to our situation. The question is not whether God will do it. The question is, will you be persistent in your prayer without stopping?
