Read: 1 John 5:10
The only salvation of man from sin stands on a barren, skull-shaped hill; a thief hangs on one cross, a murderer on another, and between them, a Man with a crown of thorns. Blood flows from His hands and feet, it pours out from His side, it drops down His face, while those who stand looking on sneer and mock. Who is this tortured figure, this Man whom other men seek to humiliate and kill? He is the Son of God, the Prince of Peace.
The assurance that comes to those who trust in Jesus is from the indwelling Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:16). And we are called to be His witnesses. Those around you also need to hear about Jesus and what He has done to save them from their sins. Are you keeping the light to only yourself? What efforts are you putting in to share your relationship with God?
