Read: Isaiah 28:29
The most direct way we see the goodness of God’s wisdom is when He shares it with us. Paul the apostle prayed that He would grant to believers in Ephesus and everywhere “the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” (Eph. 1:17). He expressed similar thoughts in his letter to the Colossians: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Col. 3:16). Paul’s desire was to know Him even more and he wanted other fellow believers to grow in the knowledge of the Lord.
All of His promises, His dealings with His children, His ways of protecting and providing for His children, etc. are recorded in Scripture for you and me so that we will be encouraged to see His goodness. Do you see the Lord’s goodness each day as you read and meditate on His Word?
