Read: 2 Corinthians 9:8

We are not able to do anything on our own. But with God nothing is impossible. God is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us (Eph. 3:20).

Our God is able to:

  • humble those who walk in pride.

Dan. 4:37 says, “…because everything He does is right and all His ways are just. And those who walk in pride He is able to humble.

  • deliver us from our enemies.

Exod. 15:6 says, “Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

  • save to the uttermost.

Heb. 7:25 says, “Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.

  • help them that are tempted.

Heb. 2:18 says, “Because He himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.

  • deliver us from the fires of life.

Dan. 3:17 says, “If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.

  • subdue all things unto Himself.

Phil. 3:21 says, “who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

  • build us up.

Acts 20:32 says, “…I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

  • heal and set us free.

Luke 4:18 says, “…to heal the brokenhearted, … to set at liberty those who are oppressed.

  • raise people from the dead.

Heb. 11:19 says, “Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

Above all, Jesus said, “I give them eternal life and they shall never perish, no one will snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28). God gave us His only begotten son Jesus, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. Are you willing to believe that “He is able?”
