People who work for companies and organisations may require identity cards to have access to their office. Without it, they cannot enter the building. We can have access to our Heavenly Father, through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6). Jesus is the Mediator between man and God (1 Tim. 2:5). Jesus is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them (Heb. 7:25). Jesus intercedes for us daily and prays for us. We can have access to God only through Jesus and not through anyone else including saints who have passed away.

When we submit our prayers to God, we conclude the prayer in Jesus’ name. Prayers are submitted before God through the name of Jesus. Eph. 2:18 says, “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.” When we are covered by the blood of Jesus, we have access to approach God’s throne of grace with confidence (Heb. 10:19).

Jesus is the door. If anyone enters through Him, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture (John 10:9). Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Trust in Him and accept His lordship over your life. That is the only access to the heavenly Father God.
